Clinic
Prevention first: led by paediatrician Dr Roel Bolt, who moved to the campus with his family, we provide growth monitoring, deworming, eye tests and vaccinations to help prevent illness. Each year, we deliver around 6,000 treatments for children on campus and people in the surrounding community.
Your contribution to the whole school
A school sponsorship supports the entire Smiling Gecko School and Kindergarten, currently attended by more than 500 children.
What your sponsorship makes possible
• Bilingual lessons with local and English-speaking teachers
• Two balanced school meals each day, often the only food children receive
• A hygiene programme: daily showers, clean school uniforms, dental care, lice treatment and deworming
• Basic medical and dental care
• Sport and music lessons
Cost
A school sponsorship costs CHF 300 a year, equivalent to CHF 25 a month.
What you receive as a sponsor
Twice a year, you receive a personal update on the latest developments at the school, so you can see the difference your contribution makes.
Good to know
Your sponsorship runs for 12 months and then renews automatically for a further 12 months. You may cancel in writing up to one month before the renewal date. Donors in Switzerland automatically receive a donation receipt.
